The Global Debate Championship 2026 – Istanbul Edition convened delegates from over 12 nations in the historical heart of Fatih at the Armada Hotel from August 20 to August 24, 2026. The conference was centered on the inspiring slogan "Bridging Continents, Amplifying Voices: The Future of Global Discourse."

The event featured five specialized debate tracks designed to challenge participants on complex international issues. The championship brought together distinguished leadership, including the Director of the European Debate Society, a panel of senior international adjudicators, and the backend technical team of the European Voice Assembly to maintain rigorous parliamentary standards throughout every session.

Beyond the competitive debates, delegates engaged in high-level diplomatic exchanges, networking sessions, and collaborative policy discussions overlooking the Old City. The Istanbul edition established a benchmark for international youth empowerment, demonstrating how structured parliamentary dialogue can unite diverse global perspectives to address pressing contemporary issues.

Held from October 7 to October 12, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, the Global Debate Championship 2025 brought together 27 accomplished delegates representing 18 nations at HOLLYWOOD VOLUME, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

Framed by the slogan "Uniting Minds, Inspiring Impact: Navigating Tomorrow’s World," this edition provided an intimate, high-impact forum for cross-cultural discourse and leadership development. The event was supported by key figures, including two Directors and the technical backend team of the European Voice Assembly, a Director of the European Debate Society, and expert international adjudicators.

The five-day gathering combined rigorous parliamentary competition with collaborative workshops, fostering diplomatic ties and strategic communication skills among emerging leaders. By connecting promising global debaters in the heart of Hollywood, the 2025 championship reinforced our mission to nurture critical thinking and international cooperation on a global stage.
